Prof. Wajira H.W. Dissanayake, Director, Human Genetics Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo announces that Sri Lanka will be hosting the South Asian Genome Meeting 2015 (SAGM 2015) in Colombo later this year.
The South Asian Genome Meeting (2015) is organized with the objective of raising awareness about genomic technologies among scientists, doctors, regulators, and policy makers in Sri Lanka and the South Asian Region by providing a common platform for technology companies in the field of genomics to showcase their latest products.
The Congress is chaired by Prof. Vajira H. W. Dissanayake, Director, Human Genetics Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo and Head, Asiri Center for Genomic and Regenerative Medicine who is a leader in Genomic Medicine.
Speaking in the meeting Prof. Dissanayake emphasized that this conference brings together scientists, doctors, regulators, and policy makers from Sri Lanka and the South Asian Region and 300 delegates are expected to attend the conference.
